Brian D. Ray

Brian D. Ray, PhD, currently serves as a Professional Lecturer in International Affairs at The George Washington University and has been with the University of Florida since May 1996, where Brian D. holds the position of Director of the Poe Business Ethics Center and Instructional Professor of Leadership & Ethics. Brian has transitioned from a role as Associate Dean and Director of the Heavener School of Business, where responsibilities included managing academic programs for 4,000 students. Additionally, Brian served in the U.S. Army Reserve for 35 years, concluding as a Colonel and Chaplain, and held various leadership positions, including Faculty Instructor in Leadership and Ethics. Educational credentials encompass a PhD and EdS in University Administration from Florida State University, a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty University, and an MBA in Economics from the University of Central Florida, among other advanced leadership programs.
