Connie Graff serves as a Professorial Lecturer of International Affairs at The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs since August 2020, contributing to the school's mission of connecting theory to practice in international policy. Previously, Connie Graff held significant leadership roles at the United States Institute of Peace as Chief Strategy and Research Officer and at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service as Acting Chief of Staff and Adjunct Assistant Professor. Additional experience includes strategic planning consultancy with The Community of Democracies, a Deputy Assistant Administrator position at USAID’s Africa Bureau, and tenures at The National Security Council, U.S. Department of State, and The Brookings Institution. Connie Graff's educational background includes a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in International Relations from the Geneva Graduate Institute, as well as a Bachelor's degree in History from Smith College.
