David Lutton

Assistant Professor Of Orthopaedics

David Lutton is a Board Certified Attending Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in academia and clinical practice. Since September 2009, David has served as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at George Washington University and has been practicing at Washington Circle Orthopaedics Associates. Additionally, David has been the Team Physician for Washington and Lee HS Varsity Football since 2011. David has contributed to medical education as a consultant for DePuy Synthes Institute and Arthrex, focusing on advanced surgical techniques for shoulder and knee injuries. Prior experience includes roles as an Orthopaedic Traumatologist at Elmhurst Hospital and as a fellow at Mount Sinai School of Medicine specializing in shoulder and elbow. David holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from The George Washington University and an M.S. in Anatomy from Virginia Commonwealth University, complemented by a B.A. in Biology from the University of Virginia.
