Derek Licina

Derek Licina, DrPH, currently serves as a Contractor at the Joint Trauma System DoD Center of Excellence for Trauma, focusing on the development of a Global Trauma System. Concurrently, Derek holds the position of Adjunct Professor in Global Health at The George Washington University and serves as President of Health Security Catalyst, LLC, providing consultancy on health, defense, and disaster response. Prior experience includes roles as a Specialist Leader at Deloitte, Defense Advisor at Kearney, and Director of Medical Security Cooperation at USCENTCOM, among others. Derek's educational background includes a Doctorate in Public Health from The George Washington University and a Master's in Public Health from the Uniformed Services University.
