Drew Thomas

Drew Thomas is an experienced professional in production, events, and media management, currently serving as the Director of Production/Events and Venues at The George Washington University since September 2021. Previously, at the International Monetary Fund from July 2009 to March 2019, Drew held the position of Senior Media Officer, overseeing substantial budgets, enhancing client satisfaction through improved audiovisual services, and directing the development of broadcast facilities. Earlier roles include serving as Senior Media Specialist at the IMF and Special Assistant to the President for Communications at the White House, where Drew managed media productions for key Presidential events. Additionally, Drew worked at ABC News as a Lighting Director, Technical Director, and Sound Engineer. Drew holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from American International College.
