Ilana Silverstein is a seasoned workshop facilitator and lecturer at ilanaspace since 2013 and an adjunct professor in the MFA Dance program at George Washington University since July 2012. Silverstein has a diverse background in arts education and event coordination, having served as an event coordinator for ImprovingBirth and as a teaching artist with organizations such as Arts & AGEing KC and bodywise dance. Notably, Silverstein was a resident artist at Georgetown University Hospital from March 2012 to May 2017, where the focus was on enhancing the quality of life for patients and staff through dance. Silverstein holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Dance from Denison University.
