Jared Johnson

Jared Johnson is an accomplished technology and academic leader at The George Washington University since December 2004, currently serving as Associate Vice President for Academic Technology and Customer Experience, where responsibilities include IT service operations and academic technology initiatives. Johnson has held multiple senior positions, including Interim Chief Technology Officer and Associate Dean for Academic Technologies, overseeing substantial teams and budgets, and contributing to strategic planning for the Libraries & Academic Innovation division. Additionally, Johnson was an EDUCAUSE Management Institute Faculty Member from October 2019 to September 2021, providing mentorship and instruction to management participants. Educational credentials include an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from The George Washington University School of Business and a BA in International Relations from Wheaton College.
