Jennifer Brinkerhoff is a Professor in Public Administration and International Affairs at George Washington University, where Jennifer has taught since July 2001. Specializing in public service, international development policy, and organizational behavior, Brinkerhoff leads the international development management concentrations for various advanced degree programs. Additionally, Brinkerhoff serves as the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Research Initiatives at the Elliott School of International Affairs and co-directs the GW Diaspora Research Program, which focuses on the dynamics of diasporas and transnationals in the US. Prior experience includes consulting for the World Bank and serving as Assistant Professor and Director of the International Public Service and Development MA Program at Rutgers University. Brinkerhoff holds a PhD in Public Administration with a focus on International Development from the University of Southern California, an MPA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and a BA in Business Economics and French Literature from UC Santa Barbara.
