Leonard Friedman

Leonard Friedman is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in public health education and management. Currently serving as Professor and Director of the Department of Health Policy and Management at George Washington University's Milken Institute School of Public Health since July 2008, Leonard oversees day-to-day operations, teaching, advising, research, and community service. Additionally, Leonard has held leadership roles as Interim Chairman and Vice Chairman in the Department of Health Services Management and Leadership. Prior experience includes a professorship and coordination role in the Department of Public Health at Oregon State University from September 1992 to June 2008. Leonard holds a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and multiple degrees from California State University, Northridge, including an MPH in Community Health Education and BA degrees in Biology.
