Professorial Lecturer In Law

Max Wolson currently serves as Sentencing Resource Counsel at Federal Public and Community Defenders since October 2023. In addition to this role, Max has been a Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University Law School since August 2015, where responsibilities include coaching moot court and teaching legal research and writing. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Attorney at the National Immigration Law Center, focusing on litigation for low-income immigrants, and roles at the United States Sentencing Commission and the Office of the Public Defender Maryland. Max has also held positions as an Adjunct Professor of Law at American University Washington College of Law and an Assistant Federal Public Defender in Iowa. Max earned a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Florida.
