Mukesh Kumar

Mukesh Kumar, PhD, RAC, currently serves as a Board Member for the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation and Chairman of the Board for Akan Biosciences. Since March 2015, Mukesh has held the position of Chief Executive Officer at FDA MAP and has also been the Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Vivacelle Bio since March 2019. Additionally, Mukesh is the Chief Executive Officer of Brij Strategic Consultations, focusing on regulatory affairs and market approval strategies for drugs and medical devices across various regions. In academia, Mukesh has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at George Washington University since May 2015, teaching Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Research. Past roles include Professor at American University and Montgomery College, where Mukesh taught courses related to drug development and clinical trial project management. Mukesh's educational background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from Delhi University and an MS in Biochemistry from the National Dairy Research Institute.
