Ning Rui is the Head of Science & Engineering at Amazon since September 2020, leading the Advertising Measurement Research team to conduct research and metric development focused on understanding the impact of advertisers’ investments. In addition, Ning teaches as an Adjunct Professor in Data Science at Columbia University and at The George Washington University, as well as in Computer Science at Northeastern University. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Study Director at Westat, managing teams in data science and related fields, and as a Data Scientist at Benefits Data Trust, where modeling efforts improved outreach effectiveness. Ning holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods and a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Pennsylvania.
