Regina James

Regina James is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and clinical researcher currently serving as the Deputy Medical Director and Chief of the Division of Diversity & Health Equity at the American Psychiatric Association. They previously held prominent roles at the National Institute of Mental Health, including Chief of the Attention Disorders Research Program and Chief of the Pediatric Mood Regulation & Bipolar Research Program. Regina also served as Director at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and at the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, leading various research initiatives aimed at addressing health disparities. Additionally, they are involved in advisory roles at the University of California, Los Angeles and The George Washington University.
