Ruchi Gupta is a Postdoctoral Scientist at The George Washington University since November 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Research Fellow (ICMR) and a Ph.D. Scholar at the National Institute of Malaria Research from August 2010 to January 2017, where Ruchi Gupta focused on antimalarial drug resistance and was awarded a Senior Research Fellowship by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). Earlier, Ruchi Gupta was a Project Junior Research Fellow in the Molecular Genetics Laboratory at the National Institute of Immunology from September 2008 to August 2010, specializing in buffalo genomics. Academically, Ruchi Gupta obtained a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Goa University (2011-2017), a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Hislop College (2006-2008), and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Govt. Model Science College (2003-2006). Ruchi Gupta completed secondary education in Biology at Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Higher Secondary School (1996-2003).
