Sameen Ahmad

Sameen Ahmad is an accomplished undergraduate at The George Washington University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, recognized as a Presidential Scholar. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Artificial Intelligence Researcher, Sameen conducts advanced research on Sentiment Analysis of Mental Health Discussions using Large Language Models under the mentorship of Dr. Hwa. Contributions include various leadership roles such as Chair and Student Coordinator of the SEAS Together Committee and membership on the GW Computer Science JEDI Committee, advocating for inclusivity within the department. With practical experience gained through internships at the Airlines Reporting Corporation and Qualcomm, alongside positions as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Executive Secretary of Undergraduate Academic Affairs for the Student Association, Sameen has developed a strong foundation in AI, data engineering, and academic leadership.
