Stephen Boyes

Stephen Boyes is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering. Currently serving as a Professor and Associate Professor at The George Washington University since June 2019, Stephen has previously held positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the Colorado School of Mines, as well as an Assistant Professor of Polymer Science at the University of Southern Mississippi. Stephen co-founded TheragNos, a biotechnology company focused on personalized nanomedicine, where responsibilities included serving as Chief Scientific Officer. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a BSc in Industrial Chemistry, both obtained from UNSW. Stephen has a robust background in research, student advising, and community outreach, complemented by experience in leading funded research initiatives.
