Steve Schooner

Steve Schooner serves as the Nash & Cibinic Professor of Government Contract Law at George Washington University Law School, a position held since June 1998. With a distinguished military background as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army from 1978 to 2007, Steve also contributed to the legal field as an Associate Administrator for Law & Legislation at the Office of Federal Procurement Policy and as a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to that, Steve held roles as an Associate at Seyfarth Shaw and as a Commissioner on the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. Educational credentials include an LL.M. in Government Procurement Law from The George Washington University Law School, a JD from William & Mary Law School, and a BA from Rice University.
