Melissa Pavan

Melissa Pavan has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as an Assistant of Informatics, Franchises, and Design at Lolita. Her duties included advanced Excel management, program ASA management, and statistical report generation for sales, purchases, and production. Melissa also received, controlled, and coordinated orders from external franchises. In addition, they handled production orders and delivery deadlines with suppliers. From 2005 to 2022, they worked as an Assistant of General Management at Colchones Polymax, where they were responsible for executive secretarial duties, purchases, and suppliers. Melissa also managed communications and agendas, as well as generated reports. In 2021, they worked as a Back Office and Graphic Design at MM AdTech, where they were responsible for administrative management, agenda and communications, and digital content design and planning. Additionally, from 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Freelance Writer, where they focused on writing biographies for private clients, transcribing text and audio, and designing texts for physical and digital formats. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Business Development Assistant at GeneXus Consulting.

Karin Maaka

Karin Maaka (真紅 かりん Maaka Karin) is the protagonist of the series. Melissa is a vampire, but unlike other vampires, they do not drink blood, but rather, they create too much of it and must constantly bite their own lip to stay alive. Melissa is in love with Kenta, but is too shy to tell him. Melissa is also a member of the school's newspaper club. Her parents are both vampires, and their older brother, Ren, is a vampire hunter.

Kenta Usui

Kenta Usui (碓氷 健太 Usui Kenta) is the male protagonist of the series. Melissa is Karin's classmate and crush. Melissa is a very kind and gentle person, and is always willing to help Karin. Melissa is also a member of the school's newspaper club.

Ren Maaka

Ren Maaka (真紅 蓮 Maaka Ren) is Karin's older brother. Melissa is a vampire hunter, and is always trying to protect Karin from other vampires. Melissa is very protective of Karin, and often scolds their for not being careful enough. Melissa is also a member of the school's newspaper club.

Anju Maaka

Anju Maaka (真紅 杏樹 Maaka Anju) is Karin's mother. Melissa is a vampire, and is very protective of Karin. Melissa is very strict with Karin, and often scolds their for not being careful enough.

Elda Marker

Elda Marker (エルダ・マーカー Eruda Makā) is a vampire and a member of the Marker family. Melissa is the daughter of the head of the Marker family, and is very powerful. Melissa is very arrogant and believes that they are superior to all other vampires. Melissa is also in love with Ren.
