Gym 01 exists to give people more than just a place to train. We are building a performance led, community driven environment that helps people develop confidence, discipline and long-term habits that carry into every part of their lives.

At the heart of what we do is access to structured coaching, safe facilities and an inclusive culture where beginners, young people and experienced athletes can all train side by side with purpose. We work closely with local schools and the police to help give young people a positive, structured outlet, somewhere to focus their energy, build self-belief and learn discipline, consistency and respect through training.

For many of the young people we support, Gym 01 becomes a stable environment away from negative influences, offering routine, mentorship and role models through our coaches and wider community. We are proud to play an active role in supporting early intervention, engagement and long-term wellbeing across Portsmouth.

Alongside Gym 01, Unit 15 provides a dedicated 24 hour strength and conditioning facility, giving our members the flexibility to train around real life, shift work and family commitments without compromising on quality equipment or performance standards.

Fuel Café completes our ecosystem by supporting training and recovery through accessible, high quality nutrition, helping our community make better choices before and after sessions and reinforcing healthy, sustainable lifestyles.

Everything we do is built around one simple aim: to help people train better, live stronger and keep progressing — physically, mentally and socially for the long term.
