Malcolm Grey

Malcolm Grey has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Malcolm started their career at Coopers & Lybrand where they worked as a Supervisor in the Growing Business Division in London. Malcolm then held the position of Senior Consultant in Corporate Finance Services in Warsaw, Poland. Later, they became a Corporate Finance Manager in London.

Malcolm then joined Zeneca Agrochemicals as the Chief Financial Officer for Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Malcolm played a crucial role in driving the recovery of a $120 million business during the Asian Financial crisis. Malcolm also served as the International Reporting Manager during their time at Zeneca Agrochemicals.

After that, they joined Syngenta, where they held several positions including Senior Group Financial Planner, Global Head of Business Controlling for the Crop Protection Division, and Chief Financial Officer for the Asia Pacific region based in Singapore. Malcolm was responsible for leading and optimizing the finance functions in these roles.

Following their time at Syngenta, Malcolm joined H.B. Fuller as the Finance Director for the EIMEA region. Malcolm later became the Finance Director for EIMEA and Global Finance Services, overseeing major transformations and acquisitions. In their most recent role at H.B. Fuller, they served as the VP Global Finance Services, leading a team of over 250 professionals and focusing on finance strategy, standardization, automation, and process improvement.

Throughout their career, Malcolm has demonstrated expertise in finance leadership, business transformation, global process standardization, and driving financial performance.

Malcolm Grey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honors from the University of St Andrews between 1986 and 1990. Malcolm then went on to study Chartered Accounting at the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales from 1990 to 1993 and achieved an ACA qualification with first-time passes.
