The local initiative group, [H] Brasov, was born in February 2019 thanks to the extraordinary efforts of MozaiQ LGBT (Bucharest) to bring the local LGBTQIA+ communities together and to help them on this journey. [H] continues to exist today both as an initiative group with members who volunteer organically and organize themselves horizontally, and as an association, legally established in October 2023 by three members of the group out of a desire to be able to access funds in an alternative way to support the group's work. Our mission is to support the local LGBTQ+ community, to (re)connect and help it to come together organically both locally and nationally. We build with dedication and sincerity in the present for a harmonious future.

We organize cool events and activities with and for the community, workshops and community meetings with various themes, Pride @ Brasov, LGBT History Month, light hikes and community picnics. We organize regular support groups for LGBTQ+ people and create the space to share our concerns, problems and needs. We work together to discover our inner resources and be ourselves.

We support various local/national causes and initiatives addressing the rights and well-being of the persons in our community and collaborate with various organizations & partners to bring positive change, both in the local/national LGBTQ+ community and in society at large.

Our efforts are seasoned with a cool mountain vibe that we invite you to discover by visiting Brasov & surroundings.
