Catherine Burns

Catherine Burns is a skilled Software Engineer with experience at H-E-B since September 2021, and previously at Dell from June 2018 to August 2021. At Dell, Catherine contributed to the Dell Design System by engineering framework-agnostic UI components, deploying applications using GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and consulting on front-end integrations. Catherine also played a key role in modernizing legacy deployments with the Pivotal Labs team and enhancing development practices. Prior experience includes an Industrial Engineering Co-op at Delta Air Lines, where Catherine developed applications for engine maintenance and managed SQL databases. Catherine holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has completed minors in Spanish at both Universidad de Cuenca and Universidad de la Comunicación, S.C.
