Daniel Lopez

Daniel Lopez, CISSP, CISM, is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Senior SOC Analyst at H-E-B since June 2020. In this role, Daniel conducts proactive monitoring and incident response, collaborating with various departments to align security initiatives with business objectives. Prior to H-E-B, Daniel worked at PwC as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, where responsibilities included incident detection and response, as well as endpoint solution architecture. Earlier experience includes roles as an Information Security Technician at CommuniCare Health Centers and a Front Desk Clerk at Planet Fitness, along with serving as a BIS Contract Trainer at St. Philip's College. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Science in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Information Security and Assurance from Texas A&M University-San Antonio and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Network Security Administration from Saint Philip's College.
