Scot Alvarez

Scot Alvarez has extensive experience in retail management, currently serving as the Director Store of the Future and previously holding several leadership roles at H-E-B since January 2008. Scot has overseen key operations including merchandising, customer service, and profitability, while also managing projects aimed at enhancing inventory management systems across over 300 stores. Prior roles at H-E-B include Regional Manager and Project Manager, where Scot implemented initiatives to improve product availability and reduce order volatility. Scot's background also includes a Data Specialist position at NovaCentrix, focusing on nanotechnology research, and an engineering internship at HNTB. Scot holds a degree in Management from Texas State University and has additional education from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
