Somesh Dash

Somesh Dash is currently a Board Director at H1. Somesh has held this position since June of 2022. Prior to their current role, Dash was a Senior Software Engineer at Zappos Family of Companies from May 2018 to June 2022.

Before their time at Zappos, Dash worked as a Java Software Engineer at CodeBroker from June 2017 to February 2018. While at CodeBroker, they were responsible for creating offer reminders for various clients and advanced search criteria for multiple offer-coupon combinations. Somesh also maintained and enhanced business functionality for user reports and batch push messages using SMS aggregator. In addition, Dash created apple pass coupons, using apple pass package, to be stored in apple wallets for Payson's customers.

Dash's first role in the software engineering field was an internship at Cvent from June 2016 to August 2016. Somesh was part of the analytics team under the R&D group and was tasked with automating and optimizing deployment of Cassandra clusters using chef. This led to him creating a single chef cookbook with multiple recipes to manage all deployment environments (Dev, Staging, Prod).

After their internship, Dash worked as a Software Engineer at CloudCover Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. from January 2015 to May 2015. Somesh then held a similar role at BNP Paribas India Solutions Private Limited from June 2013 to June 2014.

Somesh Dash has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
