Sumesh Menon

Sumesh Menon has extensive experience in the technology industry. Sumesh began their career in 1999 as Manager of Ecommerce at Indiainfo.com. Sumesh then moved to UB Group as Brand Manager in 2001, followed by Senior Manager of Marketing at Bharti Airtel Limited in 2004. In 2007, they became an Advisor to the Board and Senior Director of Marketing at Bubble Motion. In 2010, they co-founded U2opia Mobile and served as both Co-Founder and Managing Director, as well as Co-Founder and CEO of Woo - Dating App for Singles in 2015. In 2014, they founded SAIAM CAP, an early-stage investor in Asia-based tech startups. In 2020, they became a Charter Member of TiE Singapore and in 2022, they were appointed as Chapter Director of H2 (h2.co).

Sumesh Menon attended The Indian School, Bahrain from 1981 to 1994, where they completed their High School in Science. Sumesh then pursued a Bachelor in Business Management from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, they enrolled at Xavier Institute Of Management and Entrepreneurship, where they completed their MBA in Business Management in 1999.
