H2O Geomatics originated as a research spin-off from the University of Waterloo—Canada's leading institution in remote sensing and ranked among the top twenty globally (2025)—driven by a mission to revolutionize how we observe and understand water using satellite technologies.

From our headquarters at Catalyst Commons in the Kitchener–Waterloo tech corridor, we combine cutting-edge AI with physics-based models to deliver actionable insights for Arctic monitoring, cryosphere analysis, and water resource management. Today, we serve government, energy, and environmental clients navigating an era of rapid climate change.
