Hen Dotan

Chief Technology Officer at H2Pro

Hen Dotan has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. In 2006, they were a Process Student in Process Engineering at Tower Semiconductor LTD. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Visiting Research Assistant at EPFL, where they carried out research on "Probing the photoelectrochemical properties of α-Fe2O3 electrodes using hydrogen peroxide as a hole scavenger" and "Improved photoelectrochemical water splitting efficiency with gradient doping of α-Fe2O3 photoelectrodes". During this same time period, they were also a PhD student at Materials Engineering at EMD Group, Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where their research focused on producing pure hydrogen fuel by solar induced photoelectrochemical water splitting. In 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer at H2Pro, Ltd.

Hen Dotan obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in α-Fe2O3 electrodes for photoelectrochemical water splitting from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2009 and 2014. Prior to this, they obtained a B.Sc. in Materials Engineering and a B.A. in Physics from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2004 and 2008.
