Christopher Wahl

Research & Development Engineer

Christopher Wahl is a highly experienced professional in the field of nuclear engineering and radiation detection technologies. Early experience includes a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship at NIST focused on developing source-detection algorithms for homeland security. Christopher then contributed as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where algorithm development for gamma-ray source detection was a priority. After obtaining a PhD at the University of Michigan, Christopher served as a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University, working on gamma-ray detectors for homeland security and particle physics. Additionally, Christopher has lectured on nuclear science at Yale and currently occupies the role of Research & Development Engineer at H3D, Inc., specializing in gamma-ray imaging spectrometers for various applications, including nuclear power and medical use. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from SUNY Geneseo and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan.
