Jared O'Connell, CFA, is an experienced investor and capital advisor specializing in advanced technology companies. Since July 2025, Jared has held positions at Privateer Space, focusing on geospatial data solutions, and Aalo Atomics, investing in modular nuclear power for AI datacenters. As Managing Director at Union Square Capital Advisors since May 2017, Jared provides advisory services for growth-stage technology firms. Other current investments include EnCharge AI, Matter, H3X Technologies, Figure, d-Matrix, Mintoak, and Ayar Labs, all of which are innovating within their respective fields, from AI and e-mobility to advanced semiconductor technologies. Jared graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
