HA-HA Design and Development is a Dutch architecture firm specializing in adaptive reuse, innovative housing solutions and renovation of historic landmark buildings. Founded in Rotterdam in 2022, HA-HA believes that all disciplines, including architecture, landscape, and urbanism are equally integral to a successful design proposal; the client and contractor are active collaborators; and that development, finance, and feasibility are part of the creative process. 
 
Currently the office also leads a studio on wooden housing at TU Delft in the Netherlands. Among others, HA-HA has previously collaborated with Heijmans, Woonstad, Provincie Zuid-Holland, Wooncompas and Woonplus.  
 
HA-HA is both an expression of delight and an unexpected, yet seamless, element of the landscape, often found in English gardens. HA-HA’s design sensibility is playful, practical, and harmonious - but never obvious or predictable.
