Fred Haberman began their work experience in 1989 as the Program Director at Camp Manito-wish YMCA. Fred then worked as an Account Executive at Wells & Miller Public Relations and as a PR Account Executive at Kamstra Communications. In 1993, they became the Vice President of Kazakhstan Operations at US Asian Enterprises. In 1994, they started their own company, Haberman, where they served as the CEO and Co-Founder. Fred also owned Simply Wilderness during this time. In 1995, they founded the US Pond Hockey Championships and served as the Commissioner until 2015. In 2014, they co-founded Urban Organics Inc, a large-scale organic aquaponics farm that focused on sustainability and economic development. In 2016, they founded Freak Flag Organics and served as the CEO.

Fred Haberman completed their B.A. in History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Later on, they pursued an Advanced Professional Certificate in Guitar at Berklee College of Music from 2022 to 2024.
