Andy Sleeper has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Andy started their career at Hewlett-Packard in 1981 as a Reliability Engineer and worked there until 1987. Andy then joined Woodward Governor Company as a Six Sigma Black Belt and remained with the company for 14 years. In 2001, they became a Master Black Belt at Six Sigma Consultants, Inc and stayed until 2002. From 2007 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Associate at Rath & Strong. In 2014, they briefly served as a Consultant at Global Productivity Solutions. In 2002, they founded Successful Statistics LLC and worked as the President until 2018. Currently, they are working at Hach as a Principal R&D Systems Engineer.

Andy Sleeper completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Rice University from 1977 to 1981. Andy continued their education at Colorado State University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Statistics from 1990 to 1994. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Statistics at Colorado State University from 1994 to 2019.
