Bailey Sumner

Bailey Sumner has extensive experience in supply chain management and operations, currently serving as the Director of Global Planning & Fulfillment at Hach since June 2015. In this role, Bailey leads teams in global order management, demand planning, and supply chain projects. Previous positions at Hach include Supply Chain Manager and Operations Manager, where leadership over 140 associates was demonstrated, focusing on key performance indicators such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Additional responsibilities encompassed inventory management and productivity metrics across various production lines. Prior to Hach, Bailey gained valuable skills at 3M as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, where contributions to continuous improvement initiatives were made, and as an S10 Gamma Irradiator Dose Mapper. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University and a Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online.
