Doug Royer

Doug Royer has extensive experience in the chemical industry, having worked at Hach since November 1992 in various roles, including R&D Chemist III and Area Manager. Royer's work has focused on research, development, and troubleshooting for the Hach Reagent product line, with notable contributions to automated nitrate analysis and packaging improvements. As Area Manager, Royer oversaw approximately 20 production workers and was instrumental in implementing lean manufacturing practices. Additionally, Royer has specialized in powder technology and fluid bed coating applications and has a background in quality control. Prior experience includes serving as a Chemical Technician at Heartland Chemical from 1990 to 1992. Royer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Iowa State University.
