Clay Nicholson has gained diverse experience through various roles in technology and education. Notable positions include a high school job shadow at BETA TECHNOLOGIES and a GlobalFoundries job shadow, where Clay learned about semiconductor fabrication and machine repair. As an FLL coach for the Champlain Valley School District, Clay mentored students in programming and robotics. At the Islamic Society of Vermont, Clay led a STEAM education camp, focusing on Lego Robotics. As a founding member and lead programmer of Green Mountain Robotics #9101, Clay contributed to the team's award-winning achievements. Additionally, Clay was selected as an MIT LLRISE Scholar, and is currently employed as a software engineer at Hack Club. Education includes part-time classes in Economics, Mathematics, and Computer Science at the Community College of Vermont and the University of Vermont, respectively.
