Joanne V.

Joanne V. is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in UX/UI design and product strategy. Currently serving as Design Mentor and Design Director at Hack the 6ix, Joanne co-led a team that enhanced the digital experience for Toronto's largest summer hackathon, resulting in a significant increase in hacker applications. Previous roles include Product Design Lead at Confocal, where Joanne focused on protocol creation for wet-lab researchers, and Associate Product Designer at Loblaw Digital, leading the design of a search feature for an order management system. Joanne has a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo.
