James Hooker

James Hooker worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Hack The Box since May 2017. Prior to that, they were a Vulnerability Researcher at g0blin from October 2014 to October 2019. James also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Holiday Extras from July 2015 to April 2019. Before that, they worked as a Web Developer at MSO.net from November 2008 to July 2015. In addition, they worked as an IT Consultant at Jera LTD from March 2008 to November 2008, providing services in web design, security analysis, and software development. Their earliest experience as a Web Developer was at Zyclopse from September 2006 to June 2007.

James Hooker's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Hastings College of Art and Technology. James completed their studies there in 2005, earning a HND Computing degree. In 2015, they enrolled at the University of Maryland College Park, where they focused on Usable Security and Software Security for a year. In 2016, James obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (PWK+OSCP) certification from Offensive Security.
