Kunal Patel

Kunal Patel has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Kunal is currently working at Hack The Box as a Senior Training Lab Engineer, where they are responsible for designing and developing certification labs and creating a scalable Ansible structure to automate the building process of HTB Academy module Labs/Vms.

Prior to that, Kunal worked at KPMG India as a Security Analyst, where they played a role in analyzing security issues. Kunal also worked at Offensive Security as a UGC Author, contributing to the development of security content.

Additionally, Kunal has experience working at Seclance as a Security Researcher. In this role, they collaborated with departments and managers to analyze technical resource effectiveness, conducted vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and conducted research in the field of cybersecurity.

Kunal Patel holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University (GTU). In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. Kunal is a Certified Penetration Testing Specialist (CPTS) from Hack The Box, which they obtained in December 2022. Kunal is also an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security, obtained in July 2021. Furthermore, they hold a Certified Network Security Specialist (CNSS) certification from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK, obtained in May 2020. Kunal has also acquired Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) in January 2021 and Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) in November 2020.
