Ayana Ivery

Ayana Ivery joins Hack the Hood as the Senior Communications Manager. She has 15 years of experience in communications, visual design and content creation and 7 years of program management working with local organizations in Oakland, Berkeley, and San Francisco. Ayana creates dynamic user-focused experiences through communication, events, digital design, and artistic installations and is excited to bring her talents to Hack the Hood. She also brings a passion for helping youth leverage their talents within the tech space.

She is an alumna of San Francisco State University and also studied abroad in Southern France. As a visual designer, she is driven by curating experiences with graphic design, art, and technology. In her free time, Ayana enjoys creating relaxing spaces, cooking, gardening, and traveling the world.
