Christopher Maree is a seasoned technology professional with a robust background in software engineering, blockchain development, and research. Currently serving as a Mechanism Researcher and Technical Lead at UMA since January 2020, Christopher focuses on Oracle solutions and leads an engineering team on the Ethereum blockchain. As a Research Partner at Hack VC, Christopher evaluates prospective investments and supports portfolio projects. Christopher co-founded and held CTO and CIO roles at registree and Ribbon Blockchain, where strategic architectural development and healthcare blockchain initiatives were paramount. An alumnus of the University of Cape Town and the University of the Witwatersrand, Christopher possesses advanced degrees in Data Science and Electrical Engineering.
