Shams Abrar

Shams Abrar is a sophomore at Drexel University’s College of Computing & Informatics, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with a Minor in Robotics & Automation. They have served as Technical Lead for Vida AI at BModelr, where they architected an AI platform for enterprise clients, and they are currently the President of Drexel Hack4Impact, overseeing the development of a web application for a nonprofit partner. Shams has also held research positions, including roles at the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and the Multi-Robot Systems Lab at Drexel, contributing to innovations in autonomous robotics and large language models. Born in Kuwait with Bangladeshi roots, Shams brings a unique global perspective to their collaborative work and problem-solving endeavors.
