Tarun Kommuri is a Software Engineer at Hack4Impact since February 2023, focusing on enhancing the Jefferson Area Board For Aging’s site portal while adhering to Agile SDLC. Tarun is also currently a Bootcamp Student learning the MERN stack and serves as an Operations Organizer for Technica, coordinating efforts for a major hackathon aimed at underrepresented genders. Previous experience includes a Software Engineer Intern position at Ticketmaster, where Tarun developed a data visualization dashboard and a Slack bot for systems monitoring. Earlier work as an Instructor at Kumon North America involved educating students in various subjects including mathematics and literature. Tarun is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, with an educational background from Mount Hebron High School.
