Xiaofan Li is a proactive software developer with diverse experience in software engineering and project management. Currently contributing to Hack4Impact, Xiaofan focuses on enhancing the React Native frontend of a mobile application designed to support and preserve endangered languages. Previous experiences include a software engineer internship at Optum, where Xiaofan developed the React/Bootstrap frontend for a mental health journaling web application and created a REST API with Flask. As a project manager at Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, Xiaofan led a team to develop a Google Chrome extension for student schedule management. Earlier roles also included a data analyst internship at WeSolv and a software engineer internship at Purple Ant, where Xiaofan gained valuable insights into data analysis and application development. Xiaofan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
