Andrew Blum

Andrew Blum is an experienced Senior Software Engineer at Emporia Research since July 2024 and has been a Lead Instructor and Developer for Full Stack Software Engineering at Hackbright Academy since July 2018. At Hackbright, Andrew leads a six-month program educating graduates who have secured positions at major tech companies such as Google, Uber, and Amazon, focusing on technologies including React, JavaScript, Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, and Postgres, as well as data structures and algorithms. Andrew's career also includes roles at Juniper Square as a Software Engineer, Kaddra as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, and founding Blum Consulting, a successful software consulting firm. Earlier experience includes positions at UC Berkeley and the San Francisco Health Plan, where Andrew managed IT support and systems for various organizations. Andrew holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
