Oleksandr Horlan has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Oleksandr currently holds the position of Head of Triage Team at HackenProof, a web3 bug bounty platform, since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Security Analyst in the Triage Team at the same company from October 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining HackenProof, Oleksandr worked at Hacken as a Penetration Tester & Security Analyst from October 2019 onwards.

In 2021, Oleksandr co-founded disBalancer, where they served as the Operations Lead.

Earlier in their career, Oleksandr worked at WebbyLab as a DevOps/Network/Unix System Administrator from March 2017 to October 2018. Oleksandr also gained practical training experience at Samsung Electronics Ukraine in April and May 2018.

Oleksandr obtained their Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the State University of Telecommunications, where they studied from 2021 to 2023.

Prior to that, they received their Bachelor's degree in Finance from Kyiv National Economics University, completing their studies from 2018 to 2022.

During their time as an undergraduate student, Oleksandr also pursued another Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity from the State University of Telecommunications. Oleksandr attended this program from 2018 to 2021.

Before entering university, Oleksandr completed an Associate's degree in Software Engineering from Kyiv Optical-mechanical college KNU T. Shevchenko. Oleksandr attended this college from 2014 to 2018.
