Mek Karpeles

Mek left his Ph.D program in AI/ML NLP at the University of Delaware to co-found Babo Labs, a digital goods marketplace which was acquired in 2011 by Hyperink (YC W11). At Hyperink, Mek co-led engineering, was the principal architect behind hyperink.com, and engineered the pipeline which helped them scale to 500 publications a month. He served a stint as VPE / interim CTO at Ark.com (YC W12).
