Burcu Yarar

Burcu YARAR is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Application Security Team Lead at VakıfBank since April 2022. Burcu is also a member of the Synack Red Team and a Bug Hunter at HackerOne, contributing to security assessments. In January 2023, Burcu co-founded UNIQUESEC, a non-profit organization focused on uniting cybersecurity professionals in Turkey. Previous roles include Senior Cyber Security Specialist at Akbank and Senior Penetration Tester at BGA Cyber Security. Burcu began a career in cybersecurity with internships at various organizations, including Sisecam and Esenler Belediyesi. Burcu holds a degree in Computer Technology and Information Systems from Trakya University and a diploma in Web Design and Programming from İstanbul Ticaret Odası Anadolu Teknik Lisesi.
