Daniel Tomescu

Daniel Tomescu has extensive experience in cybersecurity, currently serving as a Director at KPMG Romania since May 2014, where responsibilities include direct hacking and overseeing various security projects. Daniel has also held multiple positions at KPMG, ranging from Senior Manager to Security Penetration Tester, focusing on various aspects of ethical hacking. Additionally, Daniel works as a Bug Bounty Hunter at HackerOne and previously contributed as a Security Researcher for the Synack Red Team. Prior to entering the cybersecurity field, Daniel served as a .NET Programmer at AXA, developing internal applications tailored for the insurance sector. Academically, Daniel holds a Master's degree in Information Management and Security and a Bachelor's degree in Automatic Control and Programming from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, complemented by a high school diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science.
