Michiel Prins

Michiel Prins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and product development. As a co-founder and product leader at HackerOne since August 2012, Michiel has been instrumental in efforts to enhance internet safety. Additionally, Michiel serves on the Supervisory Board of CSIRT.global, contributing to global cybersecurity initiatives. Previously, Michiel co-founded Online 24, specializing in penetration testing for diverse clients across EMEA and Silicon Valley, and worked as a security engineer at Factlink Inc., focusing on security architecture and penetration testing. Earlier roles include an internship at Codigy, where mobile applications were developed, and research at Fox-IT on vulnerability scanners. Michiel holds a degree from Hanze, obtained between 2007 and 2011.
